The hotel is adjacent to an exclusive district called Kamienna Góra (Kamieniec before the war), with residential housing to the south and a green belt stretching from east to west, ending at the seaside boulevard.

Dom Marynarza Hotel offers 55 rooms, consisting of 118 beds in apartments, and standard and deluxe rooms for 1, 2, 3 or 4 people, with beautiful views of the sea, private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, satellite televisions and telephones.

            The history of Dom Marynarza (Sailors House) begins in 1929, when a modern luxurious spa house was opened in the resort at Kamieniec, including a pool for warm sea baths. The post-war era changed the nature of the place.

            In 1952 the spa house was handed over to Polish Ocean Airlines, and then modernised and partially rebuilt to become Dom Marynarza. It was used by sailors during their stay in the port or shipyard. Only people connected with the sea or the maritime industry stayed in the building. Polish shipowners had a significant tonnage potential, hence it was necessary to ship a large number of sailors. The sailors, whose permanent place of residence was outside the Tri-City, waited for the arrival of their ships by staying overnight in our hotel, and at the same time were able to handle all the necessary formalities before departure.

            Families of sailors (wife, children) were also often guests of the hotel as they waited for the arrival of their husbands, sons and brothers, or to see them off. In the 1990s, the hotel became open to the general public. The building has retained its clear historical form and unique charm, and the character of the place remains unchanged.
